Special Hikes 2004-2005

These hikes are NOT accessible for everyone. Meet at the times and locations noted below. Bring your lunch and a beverage

THANKSGIVING DAY HIKE
Thursday - Nov 25th @ 9:30AM Meet Linda Futrell at Pantoll for this moderate paced 5 to 7 mile holiday hike. Bring lunch and water. Back by 2:00PM.

NEW YEAR'S DAY HIKE
Saturday, Jan 1st @ 9:30AM Assemble at Rock Spring and hike in groups to East Peak where refreshments will be served and a commemorative pin will be awarded. Bring lunch and water.

MUSHROOM HIKE Saturday – Jan 22nd – 9:30AM
Join Mycologist Robert Mackler in identifying the many variety of mushrooms found on Mt. Tam. This hike will be limited to the first 18 people. An alternative hike is available.

MODERATE SUNDAY HIKES Jan 9th, Feb 13th, Mar 13th.
A moderate hike of 6-8 miles is offered the second Sunday of each month. This is in addition to the regular Sunday hike.

Hikes from Trojan Point, Bootjack, Laurel Dell, Rock Spring and East Peak will start from Pantoll and will be re-routed to stay below Panoramic Highway.
